FETS employs five contract therapists plus two interns. We have a victim representative on staff as well. Although FETS operates as an agency under the supervision of Dr. Reser, each therapist has autonomy to bring their own unique talent to the work.

Gary Reser, PhD, LPC

Gary Reser, PhD, LPC is the owner and clinical supervisor for Forensic Evaluation and Treatment Services. He started his career in research engineering and, according to his wife, has spent way too much time in school because he has two MS in engineering, one MA in counseling, and a PhD in psychology. He spent 18 years in engineering research and development until “retooling” to enter the mental health profession in 1995. Initially he focused on family therapy until making the move in 2004 into providing services for adults who have committed sex offenses. Dr. Reser is a SOMB listed treatment provider, supervisor and evaluator at the Full Level. His current professional interest includes the development of empirically based, respectful treatment protocols for people who have committed sex abuses. Over the past three years, Dr. Reser was a major contributor to the rewrite of the current SOMB standards. He currently sits on the SOMB Best Practices Committee.
